Radiance (Riviera's Rhodes Scholar filly)

Regan (aka Riviera) is a 1995 black mare, 16. 1 hands by Ravallo out of States Premium mare, Bounty by Bolero. Ravallo won his 100 day test at Medingen in 1989 with an overall score of 155, he scored a 157 for dressage and 127 for jumping. His score has not yet been surpassed. Ravallo is by Raphael out of a Goldstein. Bounty also produced the stallion Rienzi and many other outstanding individuals. Bounty's dam is a full sister to the famous Celle stallion, Lanthan.

Regan was bred by Marefield Meadows, she was born in Germany and imported to the US as a yearling. Regan was the highest scoring mare on the United States Hanoverian Inspection tour in 1998 with a score of 7.8. Dr. Bade and Ludwig Christmann of the German Verband stated that she is the ideal modern Hanoverian that breeders should try to produce. She also was the Champion Young Horse at the Hanoverian Mare Show at Woodvale Farm in 1998.

Regan successfully completed her mare performance test in 1998 earning her Elite Mare title. Regan earned a 9 on her walk and an 8 on her type and trot at her inspection. She earned an 8 for rideability and an 8 for her canter at her Mare Performance test. She then went on to be Reserve Champion mare at the May, 1999 Morven Park Dressage Breed Show. In July, at Dressage at Lexington, she was the Reserve Champion mare and won the huge Hanoverian IBC class of 24 entries beating all of the show champions with the highest score of the day of 84 points. She is currently in light dressage training for 2001 and is also in foal to Rhodes Scholar.  Regan gave birth to a black filly by Donnerwetter this past Spring.  The filly looked exactly like Regan.  Regan gave birth to a lovely, dark bay Rhodes Scholar filly in Summer of 2002.

Regan finished her first show season under saddle in 2004 at 3rd level after returning to work from broodmare career.  Regan earned 5th place in the VADA/NOVA Year End Award Championships at 3rd level. Regan also earned 5th place for the VADA State Awards at 3rd level.

Donna Gina

Don Gregory (Sire of Donna Gina)

Donna Gina is the latest addition to Shadow Fox Farm mare band.  Donna is by Don Gregory, out of a Goldstern mare.  Donna Gina is a Verbands Premium Oldenburg mare.  She was Mare Performance Tested in Germany earning excellent scores for dressage rideability.  This chesnut mare will pursue both a dressage career under saddle and a broodmare career as she was especially chosen to breed to Rhodes Scholar. Donna Gina gave birth to a lovely, chesnut colt in May, 2002.   We are amazed at the excellent temperament and high rideability of this elegant new addition.   Donna Gina is back under saddle for the 2003 season and we look to compete her once she is fit and in shape after motherhood.  Donna Gina won the mare class at the Morven Park Dressage Breed Show in June of 2003.  She then went on to be named Champion mare and Reserve Champion Mature horse.  She was also 2nd in the GOV IBC class.  She was awarded a score of 9.7 for conformation with the comment "classical". She was awarded a score of 8.1 for her trot and a 9.6 for general impression.  She is approved Hanoverian and scored a 7.66 at her AHS inspection earning one of the top scores in the USADonna Gina earned her Elite Status with GOV in 2005 due to the outstanding quality of the two foals she produced.
