Daylight

This 1997 dark bay filly is by Don Primero (Donnerhall//Pik Bube) out of a State Premium mare Pretty Lady (Prince Thatch xx/SPSAndrone). Don Primero was the Champion of the 5 year old German Dressage Horse Championship in 1990. In 1993 he won 10 FEI level dressage competitions. He scored an overall 121 points at his 100 day test, with a score of 130 for dressage. Her States Premium grandmother was the dam of the Celle stallion, Sherlock Holmes. She has many States Premium mares in her motherline. She was bred by the well respected breeder, Ursula Kleemeyer.

This filly was purchased from the Elite foal auction at Verden. As a yearling, she won her class and the Young filly division at Morven Park Breeding Dressage show. She was the overall Reserve Champion of the Young Horses at this show. In 1998, she was 2nd place in the yearling fillies class out of 40 horses at Dressage at Devon. At the VADA show in Spring of 1999 she was 2nd place. In the Fall of 1999 she was the Champion Young Horse and Overall Show Champion at the Hanoverian Mares Show at Morven Park. In May of 2000, Daylight won her class at the Morven show, was Reserve Champion filly, Reserve Champion Young Horse, Reserve Grand Champion.  Daylight qualified for the USDF Breeders Championship at Devon.  In July of 2000, Daylight won the Hanoverian IBC class at Dressage at Lexington with a score of 83%.   She has elastic, big gaits and is a tall, leggy type. 

Daylight completed her Hanoverian inspection and Mare Performance Test in July, 2000 as a 3 year old  earning the Reserve Champion title at the inspection from a group of 14 mares, and her Elite Mare Candidacy.  Her final score of 7.33 on her inspection and Mare Performance Test qualified her for the coveted title.  She earned a score of 8 on her gaits and rideability.  Daylight placed 2nd at Dressage at Devon after being tied for first place in the Three year old fillies class.  She placed 4rth in the USDF Young Horse Championship class. 

As of June, 2001 spring show season Daylight has exceeded all of our expectations.  At her first recognized VADA show in 2001 she won both her classes at training level earning scores of 71.9% and 69%.  She was High Score Champion for the show.  In Daylight's 2nd recognized VADA show of the season,  Daylight  made a clean sweep winning every class, and earning scores of 69.4%, 71.9% and 72.4%.  The above photos were taken at the VADA NOVA June show in 2001.  

In the 2002 show season Daylight earned  many scores over 70% and as high as 73.5%  at first level. She has earned high point champion at three shows, and has placed first in 9 classes out of 11 starts.    Daylight earned the Grand Champion of the VADA/NOVA Year End Awards for Recognized Shows.  She also earned 3rd place for the USDF All Breeds Awards Year End HOY Championships.  Her average score was 71.93%.  In June of 2003 Daylight won the Material class at the Morven Park Dressage Breed Show.

In 2004 Daylight finished 8th in the USA for 3rd level Open USDF Awards, First Overall for 3rd level Hanoverian All Breeds Awards. She was High Score Champion at every show attended.  She competed twice at 4rth level winning all of her classes and earning scores in the high 68% to 69% range. SOLD

Mayflower

A States Premium mare by Matcho out of a Goldstein/Pik Konig mare. Mayflower is an elegant dark bay mare with excellent elastic gaits. She is a carbon copy of her sire, Matcho. Mayflower earned an overall 8 at her inspection with a 9 for her head. After only 30 days under saddle she passed her Mare Performance Test with a Junior rider and an overall score of 7. She has had a successful broodmare career to date, and has had two colts by A Jungle Prince, an Argentinus son owned by the Pape Family in Germany. Mayflower is in competition in the year 2000 and to date has had great success winning almost every class she has been entered in.  She was Champion mare and Mature Horse at the Morven Park Spring Show.  She won her class and was Reserve Champion mare at the VADA show, as well as High Point Hanoverian and winning the Hanoverian IBC class.  At Dressage at Lexington she was 2nd in her Mare Class.  Mayflower qualified for the Mature Horse USDF East Coast Championship at Devon twice this year.  Mayflower placed 8th in her mare class and 8th in the USDF Mature Horse Breeders Championship at Devon in 2000.  Mayflower has a stallion son by A Jungle Prince (the Pape's Argentinus son) that has made it through the pre-selections and vettings and been selected to go to the HanoverianVerden Hengste Keuring in October 2000.  

In 2001 and 2002, Mayflower is pursuing a dressage career and has been shown lightly. She is kind enough to be ridden by my 12 year old son.  She is however sensitive and not for a true beginning rider.   Mayflower is in foal to Ruffian (Rubinstein/Inshallah) for a 2004 foal.   She is  SOLD

Donatella

This black, 16.1 hand 1995 mare is by Donnerschlag (Donnerhall/Pik Koenig) out of a Wenzel/Domspatz mare. She was inspected with an overall score of 8 and she completed her Mare Performance Test in Germany in 1998 scoring a 7.95. She gave us a beautiful, typey black colt Del Piero (Donnerhall/Matcho/Garibaldi). Del Piero earned a score of 148 in the dressage section of his 100 day test in Germany. He was Bundeschampion of the Young Horse Riding Competition as a 5 year old, and Reserve Champion as a 6 year old. Donatella was bred back to Regazonni (Rubenstein/Werther) in 1999 and was imported to the USA in the Fall of 1999. Donatella gave birth to a lovely black Regazonni colt in May of 2000.  Regazonni won his 100 day test with a score of 152 and was the Reserve Champion of the Young Horse Championships in Germany. Donatella has three elegant, elastic gaits and is a very beautiful, modern type mare.

 Donatella gave birth to a lovely black Rotspon colt, Royal Dream on May 28, 2001. (see photos on the sale page).  Donatella is confirmed in foal to Rhodes Scholar due in April, 2003 and 2004.Donnatella gave birth to a lovely colt in April. this colt was named Reserve Champion of the colts and geldings at the Morven Park Breed Show in June of 2003. Donnatella has been bred back to Resonanz for a 2005 foal.  SOLD
