1999

  • Shadow Fox Farm qualified two mares for the prestigious USDF breeders
Championships, Riviera and Finastra, both Elite mares. Riviera was Grand
Champion at the VADA Spring Dressage Show. Finastra was Reserve Grand
champion at the Morven Dressage Breed Show.

  • Riviera had a very successful show year in 1999: At her first
recognized show last April she scored a 70% and 72% at training level,
ridden by Libby Anderson and ended up as high score Champion for the show.
This was her first show in her life and she was 3 years old.
She was Champion or Reserve every time out at Morven, VADA and Dressage at Lexington and qualifying for the USDF breeders Championships. She won a
huge competitive Hanoverian class of 24 horses at Dressage at Lexington and
secured the Hanoverian cooler. She then went on to win the American
Hanoverian Society Year end award for the highest scoring mare.

  • Finastra at her first show was the mare champion, Reserve mature horse
Champion and Reserve Grand Champion to the stallion, Davigport. She then
qualifed for the USDF Breeders championship and went onto Devon where she
placed 3rd and was in the callbacks for the championships in a very
competitive group of horses. She did all this pregnant with a Contucci
    foal.

  • Our little Rachael also had a great year-she was 1st in her first show
at Morven out of 14 fillies. She then went on to win the Reserve Champion
Filly title in some tough competition. At Dressage at Lexington she placed
2 in a very large class of 21 fillies.

  • Our long legged Daylight showed herself at the end of the year. She won
her class at the Mid-Atlantic Hanoverian mare show, was Champion Young
Horse, and then was named Overall Grand Champion of the show. We were
pleased as this was the first time a 2 year old received this honor.
Usually, the older horses win this award.

1998

  • Riviera won her mare inspection with a 7.8, and was named the highest
scoring mare in the USA for that inspection tour. She then went on to win
her 1A prize and earn her Elite Mare title by successfully completing her
Mare Performance test at Woodvale Farm. She was also Champion Young Horse
    at the Hanoverian mare show.

  • Mikimoto earned the Champion mare title and Reserve Grand Champion at the
Morven Park dressage show. Mikimoto won her first classes with 69% as a 3
year old under saddle at training level at her first Recognized show.

  • Daylight was Champion Young filly and Reserve Champion Young Horse at the
Morven Park Dressage show. She then went on to be 2nd at Dressage at Devon
out of a class of 40 horses.

  • Laura and Marstall earned their two 60% scores at 4rth level towards their
    USDF Silver Medal

1997

  • Mikimoto earned her Champion inspection score of 7.6 and was 6th highest in
the USA. She then earned her Elite mare title through her successful
completion of her Mare Performance test. She also earned her 1A status.  In addition, she was the Champion mare and Reserve Champion overall at the Morven Park Dressage Breed Show.

  • Laura and Marstall earned their USDF Bronze Medal and CDCTA Year end Reserve Champion for 2nd and 3rd level.
